Our challenge
Our collaboration began in 2015 when Petite Amélie started growing rapidly from the Netherlands to other European countries.
The company focuses on children's furniture, including beds, mattresses, wardrobes, chairs, and tables. These products are large and heavy, requiring multiple warehouses for quick delivery to customers.
The main challenges
Integrating 3 physical warehouses from different countries with Magento.
Introducing a Point of Sale system, which is integrated with the warehouses and the online shop, to the local concept stores.
Shipping methods optimisation - allowing customers to choose the parcel delivery date and select premium options like evening delivery or home delivery.
Hyva redesigning the online shop with migration to a new dedicated server and Varnish implementation.

What we have done
Omnichannel
Integrating 3 brick and mortar warehouses from different countries with Magento.
The first challenge was tackled by implementing a custom API to connect the warehouses with Magento, allowing for real-time inventory updates and seamless order fulfillment. This helped to improve efficiency and accuracy, reducing the risk of overselling or delays in order processing.
POS
Introducing a Point of Sale system, which is integrated with the warehouses and the online shop, to the local concept stores.
With the the Point of Sale system, store managers could easily track inventory levels and restock products when needed. Additionally, customers were now able to place orders online and have them fulfilled directly from the warehouse, creating a seamless shopping experience.
Multistore
Manage 6 stores across various EU countries within a single dashboard.
Expanding the business operations and venturing into new European markets posed significant challenges, particularly in adapting to the diverse range of payment methods and delivery options prevalent in the region. The multistore operating is notably simplified when all these aspects are consolidated and managed within a unified dashboard.
UX/UI Redesign
Hyva redesign to imrove UX and Performance.
Hyva serves as a best frontend option for Magento as a monolith solution, facilitating quicker development through pre-built components that enhance time to market, user experience, and Google Core Web Vitals metrics for improved performance.
Automated testing
Cypress automates the testing of shipping methods.
Conducting automated tests is a routine practice, yet automating tests for intricate shipping methods presents a notable challenge. These methods are often customised to meet the distinct needs of various markets and product categories.
