About the company
The history of Weber grills dates back to 1952 in Chicago, where George Stephen revolutionized outdoor cooking by inventing the iconic kettle grill. This innovative design quickly gained popularity, propelling Weber to become a household name in the world of grilling.
Over the years, the brand's commitment to quality and innovation has led to its widespread recognition as one of the premier grill manufacturers globally. Today, Weber grills are enjoyed in over 65 countries, offering enthusiasts everywhere the opportunity to experience the art of grilling at its finest.
Our challenge
Due to their rapid expansion, the Weber brand needed to upgrade their eCommerce platform. We set about migrating all their content to a new shop based on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This was an exciting challenge, bearing in mind Weber have a running online sale in over 60 countries.
The migration was also a great time to experiment with the content look and choose the best performing design based on A/B testing.

What we have done
Stores migration
Salesforce Commerce Cloud migration
Our responsibility was to migrate the content from 12 existing shops to the new Salesforce Commerce Cloud shop and adjust the content to the new design.
This was not an easy task as the deadline was short and the amount of content was significant. We migrated pages in multiple languages, including Norwegian, Dutch, German, Italian, French and others.
A/B tests
To enhance design and performance, we carried out 25 A/B tests.
Once the migration of the content was completed and the migrated shops were up and running, we started the second phase of the project: A/B testing content pages.
All tests were conducted with the use of optimizely.com and dynamicyield.com tools. We completed all major tests within a few months and we set the better performing versions of the content as the default ones.

I appreciated that the Panda Group team was down to earth, worked one-on-one with us, and offered easy communication. Their project management was above average and it was easy to communicate as they did not hesitate to show the progress of the work.
